The reported interrogation of social activist Swapnesh Sherlekar by the Panjim Police over remarks made in a YouTube video raises serious concerns about freedom of expression in Goa. Activists who question the government and expose issues after detailed research should not be intimidated through police complaints and political pressure. Goans must stand united in supporting voices that speak up for the protection of the state and the interests of future generations.
