It has come to attention that during Assembly session, four individuals in the gallery were shouting slogans and displaying posters, disrupting proceedings. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, visibly losing his composure, directed security personnel to arrest them. This incident has sparked significant controversy. Sudin Dhavalikar, reflecting on his 27 years in office, stated that he has never witnessed such behaviour within the assembly. Dhavalikar expressed concerns that protesters might escalate their actions by bringing stones into the assembly which shows his fear. Yes they can even hit you by stones outside on the streets because politicians are brought to power by the people. Present government and police are famous in arresting their own citizens whenever they raise their voice, so they supress their voice. Additionally, questions have been raised regarding the role of security guards in the assembly house. Observers wonder why proper checks are not being conducted on individuals entering the premises, which could prevent such disruptions in the future. This situation calls for a review of security protocols and a constructive dialogue between the government and its people to ensure peace and respect within the assembly and beyond.
