A stand-up comedy special featuring Goan comedian Shraddha Shirodkar, popularly known as “Vhani”, was released on the streaming platform Vindaloo OTT to coincide with International Women’s Day earlier this month. Titled “Goan Vhani”, the 90-minute show explores themes such as family life, marriage, household dynamics and social expectations of women, drawing on everyday Goan experiences. Shirodkar, who performs as the relatable “Vhani” character, has built a following on social media, where her videos on Goan life and humour have gained traction among audiences. The special was released on March 8 and is available on the platform through subscription.
