Out of the 22,000 government jobs proposed to be filled before the elections, one taluka has already started playing loud music in an apparent attempt to secure a larger share of jobs to strengthen its constituency and benefit its voters.
Meanwhile, the government continues to ignore contractual employees who have been struggling for more than five to six years. What is their fate? Can the Chief Minister comment on their future?
These employees will have no security or incentives at the time of their retirement or thereafter. The government must first secure their future.
