The Colva-Margao road has become a major blackspot in South Goa. Stretches of it have become open-air garbage dumps (where are those much-touted AI cameras?), which are eyesores as well as a public health hazard. Besides, cattle from the adjoining paddy fields cross the road at all hours of the day and night, putting vehicles at peril. It is one of the most heavily used roads, and the administration can surely depute a mobile patrol person during evenings to monitor the stretch to apprehend and fine miscreants caught dumping trash.
