The inauguration was attended by Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant as chief guest, and was presided over by Motion Education founder and educator Nitin Viijay. The event included discussions on career planning, competitive exam preparation and changes in modern education. Speakers stressed the role of structured guidance, quality teaching and academic support in improving student outcomes.
Motion Education founder and chief executive Nitin Viijay said Kota attracts large numbers of students for engineering and medical coaching due to its competitive environment, experienced faculty and structured systems. He said success in competitive examinations requires strategy, consistent practice and mentoring, not only hard work. He added that the organisation aims to build confidence and capability among students.
Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said students in Goa often faced challenges in accessing Kota-based coaching due to financial and family constraints. He said the new centre would allow students to receive similar preparation locally. He added that modern education requires digital tools, updated methods and experienced mentors.
Centre Director Khairu Mavany said the institute offers nearly two decades of coaching experience for NEET and JEE preparation. She said Motion Education operates more than 90 centres across India. She added that the Goa centre, in partnership with Excellence Education Academy, will offer classroom programmes, test series, performance analysis, doubt support, mentoring and digital learning tools for students from Class 8 onwards.
The launch is expected to expand access to competitive exam preparation for students across Goa in the coming academic years ahead across the State.
