VASCO: Delta Group has won five awards from the Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) for cargo handling and operational efficiency for 2025“26, at a function attended by port officials and industry representatives. The company received award for highest cargo handling as stevedores, accepted by Sarvesh Morajkar. It also won award for highest semi-mechanised bulk loading in 24 hours, received by Mohiuddin Ahmed and Sami Ahmed.
Delta also won awards for maximum rakes handled, fastest rake unloading, and fastest rake loading, received by Raghoba A Kotkar, Benedicto Andrade and Sachin Kambli. The management said the awards reflect strong performance, teamwork, safety focus, and improved efficiency at MPA operations. It praised leadership of Raghoba A Kotkar for better coordination and faster turnaround times.
