The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has expanded its leadership team in Goa by appointing two more co-incharges, less than a week after national convenor Arvind Kejriwal’s visit to the State.

In a statement, AAP national general secretary Pankaj Gupta announced that Nikita Phogat Sansanwal and Amreek Singh Gill have been appointed as “Sah Prabharis” (co-incharges) for the Goa unit.

The appointments are aimed at strengthening the party’s organisational structure and boosting its outreach efforts ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections.

The move comes as AAP looks to strengthen its position in Goa, where it has two MLAs and has indicated its willingness to form alliances with other Opposition parties.
