PANAJI: North Goa Collector Ankit Yadav has announced that more than 1,000 Sanad and ownership rights certificates will be distributed to beneficiaries under the Mhaje Ghar scheme at a district-level programme scheduled for tomorrow at Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji, at 11 am.

Speaking ahead of the event today, the Collector said the beneficiaries span multiple talukas and have already been cleared under various schemes after due processing. “For tomorrow’s programme, more than 1,000 orders have been issued. Beneficiaries from different talukas will be receiving their certificates,” he said.

He added that the administration is working to speed up processing of pending applications. “We are reviewing progress on a weekly basis to ensure time-bound disposal across all schemes. Final orders are being issued in a structured manner,” Yadav said.

The Collector confirmed that senior state leadership, including the Chief Minister, ministers, MLAs, and other dignitaries, are expected to attend the programme along with officials.

He also noted that follow-up distribution drives will continue across talukas and villages through separate camps to ensure wider coverage of beneficiaries.

On land-related concerns, Yadav said there were currently no complaints regarding Comunidade certificate issuance. “As of now, we have not received any complaints. A clear SOP has been laid down, and we are following the proper procedure under the Act,” he said.

The Collector further stated that detailed data on land categories will be compiled and shared separately.
