Nine-year-old Srisha Suvarnasingh Polle from Podwal, Corjuem in Aldona has once again made her village proud by successfully crossing the Mandovi River recently.
A student of Shiksha Niketan School, Torda, Porvorim, Srisha marked her second successful crossing of the Mandovi River. She had earlier completed the same challenge when she was studying in Standard II at the age of 8, displaying extraordinary courage, determination, and swimming ability at such a young age.
Srisha is the daughter of Suvarnasingh Ramakant Polle and Rakhee Suvarnasingh Polle.
What makes this accomplishment even more inspiring is that Srisha did not undergo any specialized private training. She developed her swimming skills through the swimming camp organized by her school, where she nurtured her confidence and passion for the sport.
The event saw the participation of 32 swimmers and was conducted under the expert guidance of Coach Ajay Naik and his team of coaches, who mentored and supervised the young swimmers throughout the challenging river crossing.
