Paroda gradually took control of proceedings, with Steve Menezes and Velroy Carvalho repeatedly testing the Betalbatim defence. However, defender Alison Rogtao stood firm with a series of timely interceptions and tackles to keep the scores level.
Paroda eventually broke the deadlock in the 37th minute when Velroy Carvalho produced a diving header to put his side ahead. Betalbatim responded positively and raised the tempo, with substitute Dickson injecting fresh energy into the attack in search of an equaliser.
However, Paroda struck again in the 47th minute through Steve Menezes, whose goal doubled their lead and put them firmly in control of the contest.
Betalbatim continued to push forward, but goalkeeper Aron Gomes rose to the occasion with a string of fine saves to preserve the clean sheet and ensure Paroda's progression to the next round.
Steve Menezes was named Man of the Match. The award was presented by former Cana-Benaulim Sarpanch John Barreto.
