The fascinating intrigue of Ian Fleming's novels went on to be made into, amongst other works, 27 unique and resplendent James Bond movies, which started way back in 1962 with the first one, Dr. No, starring Sean Connery, who acted in six movies in all, amongst them Goldfinger, From Russia with Love and You Only Live Twice. Next, George Lazenby acted in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. The imperious Roger Moore acted in seven 007 movies, amongst others Live and Let Die, Octopussy, Moonraker and For Your Eyes Only. Next in order, Timothy Dalton wowed audiences in The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill. Pierce Brosnan thrilled the world with GoldenEye, The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day. The latest James Bond was played by the flamboyant Daniel Craig, who acted in five movies, which included Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre and No Time to Die. All these James Bond movies were embellished with captivating theme songs and sophisticated use of unique contraptions, which added more allure to the movies. Eon Productions, by the Broccoli family amongst others, is now to be owned by Jeff Bezos' Amazon MGM Studios. It is hoped that greater zeal and innovation will become the trademark of the new generation of 007 movies.
