A rules-based order is an international judicial system where no country is allowed to attack another country to take over its land and assets, carry out regime change, or expand its own territory. Israel and America violated this with impunity. All India had to do was condemn this.
Spain, a NATO country, did this; Canada, France, Germany and many other countries followed suit. But there was not even a squeak out of India. There appears to be no clear reason, which raises concerns about the Prime Minister’s position on the matter.
Otherwise, it would have been very easy to condemn the violators for upending the UN Charter. If we are getting the short end of the stick, it is because Trump and Netanyahu have Modi in a chokehold.
