Through your esteemed newspaper, I wish to highlight the continued lack of menstrual leave and basic facilities for women in many corporate organizations, including leading multinational companies. Despite growing awareness and government recommendations, implementation at the ground level remains weak. Women are often compelled to work during painful periods without access to rest, proper hygiene facilities, or supportive policies. This not only affects their health but also reduces workplace productivity and morale. Menstrual leave is not a privilege but a necessity. Authorities must ensure strict enforcement of policies, and companies should take responsibility to create a more inclusive and humane work environment.
