Mamata Banerjee forgot the quote by Martin Luther King Jr, that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. She was silent when Congress was pointing out Vote Chori and stealing of mandate in Maharashtra, Haryana. She was silent when Arvind Kejriwal spoke of systematic Vote Chori in Delhi. Her MPs disappeared when it came to signing the petition against the Chief Election Commissioner. She thought that all these things will make BJP go easy on her. When the fire finally reached her own door and burnt her house down, she has woken up to the problem. But it is too late now. She thought that she would win Bengal and RSS/BJP would not go after her given that she has been close to them, even called them as sharing the same ideology. But they did and used every device available to them to decimate her. It is now too late to complain, although there is a sliver of hope from Supreme Court. But she should remember that the SC termed the installation of a new government in Maharashtra as illegal but did precious little to dismiss that government.
