Recently, UAE authorities arrested 35 individuals, including  Indians, for spreading fake news on social media that misled people worldwide. Under UAE law, this is a serious offence punishable by imprisonment and heavy fines. Many Indians work in the Gulf to support their families back home. However, some misuse social media by sharing false information,  use AI especially regarding sensitive issues like war zones, even insulting national symbols. This behaviour harms the countries they live in and can have severe legal consequences. We urge all Indian workers to respect the laws of their host country, avoid sharing misleading content, and refrain from seeking cheap publicity through irresponsible posts. Remember, violating these laws can lead to imprisonment without any help from the Indian government.  Let us stand united, respecting both India and UAE which many consider a second home. Protect your future by acting responsibly online.
