During this summer season, traffic violations in Goa have increased openly on the roads. Many riders are travelling without helmets, carrying triple seats, and even minors are driving two-wheelers and four-wheelers without licences. Many drivers are also not wearing seat belts and are speaking on mobile phones while driving, which has become one of the major causes of road accidents. Illegal parking on zebra crossings and busy city roads is creating traffic congestion and danger for pedestrians. Despite these serious violations, there is hardly any monitoring or strict action visible from the Traffic Police, RTO, or Municipal authorities. With accident cases rising in Goa, authorities must enforce traffic rules strictly and take immediate action against violators to ensure public safety before the situation worsens further.
