I am residing opposite to this Dona Paula road where the traffic is heavy most of the time especially when the tourists visit this area. They come especially to see the statue of Dr Jack de Sequeira and the scenery of Goa. The crowd is mostly from other states. I have brought this to the notice of the concerned authorities to control this mess but day by day the crowds are increasing. There are some who not only park their vehicles in a haphazard manner but create panic for the residents staying nearby. Even the local councillor who has his residence along the main road cannot control these tourists. These crowds of tourists who come to Goa know this is the best place  to enjoy our scenery and our Goa environment. The government seems to be overburdened with the rush of tourists and the traffic is beyond their control.
