As Goa’s next assembly election approaches, it is clear that some opposition MLAs act like wolves in sheep’s clothing, changing loyalties like chameleons change colours. It appears BJP has already secured deals with certain MLAs, ensuring their hold on power. Once elected, politicians forget voters, knowing Goans have limited power to hold them accountable when they switch parties. The opposition remains divided and confused, failing to unite against BJP, which exploits this disunity. Voters often change their support for short-term incentives like money, alcohol, or food. Goans must be cautious of these two-faced leaders who might betray the state for personal gain. It is time for voters to demand true commitment to Goa’s progress rather than be swayed by temporary benefits.
