The Department of Civil Supplies has also reiterated that there is no disruption in the supply of petrol, diesel, or LPG across the state, with adequate stock available at oil terminals and fuel stations. The department has assured that the situation is being monitored at the regional, district, state, and national levels.
President of the All Goa Petrol Dealers Association, Narhar Thakur, reinforced the assurance. "Tanker ships are scheduled to arrive every eight days, so supplies will continue uninterrupted,” Thakur stated, adding that arrangements are in place to meet bulk diesel requirements directly through companies.
Authorities have urged the public to avoid panic buying and unnecessary rush at fuel stations, cautioning that such behaviour creates temporary shortages and fuels anxiety. Citizens have also been advised not to spread rumours, especially on social media, and to rely on official information.
