Tivim man booked for land trespass

A Tivim resident has been booked for allegedly trespassing into a private property, carrying out excavation work using a JCB machine and threatening the co-owners of the land. The complaint was filed by Anant Narayan Porob of Auchit Wado near Laxmi Narayan Temple in Tivim.

According to police, the accused, Shankar Arun Govind Shinde, allegedly entered property bearing Survey No. 557/1 at Tivim on May 7 around 4 pm. The property is jointly owned by the complainant and Siddhesh Porob. Police said the accused allegedly brought a JCB machine and its operator to excavate the land and dump mud on the property, causing damage. He allegedly threatened the owners when they objected and questioned the work carried out without their permission.
