Strong winds blow roof onto vehicles at Cutbona jetty

MARGAO

A group of workers had a narrow escape at the Cutbona fishing jetty on Sunday evening after strong winds blew off the roof of the structure they were in.

The workers escaped without injuries, but the roof was thrown onto a couple of vehicles parked nearby, causing major damage.

Sources said the workers were inside the structure when strong winds suddenly tore off the roof.

Shocked by the incident, they quickly rushed out to safety and later found that the roof had landed on vehicles parked next to the jetty.
