It is now official. The long-delayed project for urgent repairs to the Administrator of South Goa Comunidade building will cost the government Rs 2.96 crore.
Work on the project is expected to begin immediately and is to be completed within 300 days, including the monsoon period, with the completion date set for March 13, 2027.
The Public Works Department (PWD) had floated the tender for Rs 2.11 crore, but the contractor has secured the work for an estimated cost of Rs 2.96 crore.
The PWD has asked the contractor to complete the formal agreement within seven days of receiving the letter.
