Locals have expressed their gratitude to local MLA Deviya Rane for intervening in the matter and ensuring necessary measures to resolve the water issue.
According to sources, residents of Sadikwada-Nanus in Bhironda had been facing severe drinking water shortages due to insufficient water pressure for the past several days.
The issue had become serious, and locals had repeatedly requested officials of the Public Works Department’s water supply division to take immediate action. However, residents alleged that the officials had neglected the matter.
Two days ago, the situation worsened further, forcing residents to walk long distances to arrange drinking water. After the matter was brought to the attention of local MLA Deviya Rane, she immediately discussed the issue with water supply department officials and directed them to implement urgent remedial measures.
An additional pump was installed at the Bhironda Water Treatment Plant to increase water pressure. As a result, water supply in the area has significantly improved.
Residents, who were upset due to low water pressure, are now receiving a satisfactory supply of water through their taps. Locals stated that they noticed considerable improvement in the water supply from this morning onwards.
Speaking to media persons, Rane said necessary measures had been taken to resolve the drinking water problem at Sadikwada.
