Although the pedestrian pathway was used for laying cables, residents believe that an alternative arrangement could have been made.
Residents felt the Valpoi Municipal Council should have raised objections and issued notices to authorities concerned, while the deputy collector, Mamlatdar, and police should have also paid closer attention to the matter.
