42 beneficiaries get appointment recommendations under Goa Compassionate Appointment Scheme

PANAJI

 Chief Minister Pramod Sawant extended appointment recommendation letters to 42 eligible beneficiaries under Goa’s Compassionate Appointment Scheme, supporting families of Government servants in times of hardship with dignity and financial stability.

HE informed that since 2019, 439 compassionate appointments have been recommended, taking the total beneficiaries since 2007 to 1,286 across various Government departments.

Sawant further stated that with reforms in 2023 and further amendments in November 2025 to make the scheme more inclusive, our Government remains committed to Antyodaya and to ensuring no deserving family is left without support.
