Porvorim police have arrested four persons for allegedly assaulting a Socorro youth.
Complaint by Ankush Sharma (24) stated that on June 18 near Socorro Panchayat, Sourabh Narulkar and three others abused, threatened and attacked his friend Anand Patil (37), leaving him injured.
The accused also threatened Sharma. Police said the incident stemmed from previous enmity.
Three accused from Chimbel were arrested on Sunday night itself.
