Union Gymkhana, Anand CA, Rajasthan Royals and Panthers CA register convincing wins

The 4th U-13 Exposure Cricket T20 Tournament began on an exciting note with Union Gymkhana (Belgaum), Anand Cricket Academy, Rajasthan Royals Academy and Panthers Cricket Academy recording convincing victories at the Konkan Railway Colony and SAG Fatorda grounds.

At the Konkan Railway Ground, Panthers Cricket Academy defeated Margao Cricket Academy (South) by seven wickets. MCA were bowled out for 93 in 16.1 overs with Aarav Gavade top-scoring with 16. Dhanush N starred for Panthers with figures of 4/19, while KL Taru claimed 2/12. In reply, Panthers chased down the target in 15.1 overs thanks to Vishal Kumar’s unbeaten 57. Vishal was named Player of the Match.

In the afternoon fixture, Anand Cricket Academy beat Vinod Dhamaskar Cricket Academy by 17 runs. Anand posted 120/8 in 20 overs with contributions from Swaraj Govekar (27), Arush Jangi (24) and Sameer Yarulkar (23). Mohammad Ehtesham picked up 4/18 for VDCA. Chasing 121, VDCA were dismissed for 103 despite Rudra Gawas scoring 43. Arush Jangi earned the Player of the Match award for his all-round effort.

At the SAG Fatorda Ground, Rajasthan Royals Academy registered a 43-run win over Margao Cricket Academy (ACDIL). Aaryan Mishra (55) and Jaaksh Parag More (53*) guided Rajasthan Royals to 147/4. MCA replied with 104/8, with Ekansh scoring 34. Ranveer Malwadkar starred with the ball, taking 3/14, and was named Player of the Match.

Union Gymkhana rounded off the day with an emphatic eight-wicket win over Akshaya Cricket Academy. Chasing 93, Union Gymkhana reached the target in just 11.3 overs led by Vishrut Kundarnad’s 43.
