Goa Medical College beat Goa College of Architecture by 8 wickets

Goa Medical College, Bambolim registered a convincing 8-wicket victory over Goa College of Architecture, Panjim on Day 9 of the Goa University Inter-Collegiate Cricket Men Championship 2025“26.

After winning the toss, Goa Medical College elected to bowl first and managed to restrict Goa College of Architecture to 124/5 in 20 overs. Atharva Borkar led the batting effort with a well-made 58 off 45 balls, while Suyog Gauns contributed 26 off 26 deliveries. For the bowling side, Jitendra Kumar was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets for 22 runs, while Arsh Sardesai chipped in with 1 for 26.

In response, Goa Medical College chased down the target in emphatic fashion, reaching 125/2 in just 9.4 overs. Adarsh Naik anchored the innings with a solid 51 off 32 balls, while Jarvis Faleiro provided quick acceleration with 38 off 16 balls. Arsh Sardesai further boosted the chase with a rapid 21 from 8 deliveries.

For Goa College of Architecture, Chirag Mahale claimed 1 wicket for 16 runs, while Suyog Gauns picked up 1 for 31, but their efforts were not enough to stop the aggressive chase.
