GBA to host ASMITA Khelo India 3x3 Women’s League

Goa Basketball Association is pleased to invite registration of Teams for the ASMlTA Khelo India Women’s (3x3) Basketball League for Sub-Junior, Junior Girls, and Women, as part of the nationwide Khelo India initiative aimed at empowering women through sport.

The league will be conducted across two venues: On March 28, at Youth Hostel, Miramar from 8:00 AM onwards and on March 29, at DBO, Fatorda from 4:00 PM onwards, Teams from schools, colleges, clubs and institutions are invited to participate, and may choose to compete at either the North or South Goa venue based on their location. The league will be coordinated by Andriel Fernandes (North Goa, 9881034251) and Royston Costa (South Goa, 9822124349), with Sonali Raut Dessai and Sandeep Heble serving as League Convenors.Registration is free of cost and must be completed on or before March 28, via the link: bit.ly/asmitakheloindiabasketball

The ASMITA (Achieving Sports Milestone by Inspiring Women Through Action) Women’s Basketball League, under the Khelo India programme, is a nationwide initiative promoting women’s participation in sport at the grassroots level. Featuring categories from U-14, U-16, U-19 to Women, it provides competitive exposure and nurtures emerging talent. The Goa edition aims to further strengthen women’s basketball in the state while fostering inclusivity, sportsmanship, and future excellence.
