Baale BPS Open 2026 concludes with Tvisha’s treble and Aryan’s double crown

Young tennis star Tvisha Sardesai capped a remarkable campaign at the Baale BPS Open 2026 by clinching the Ladies Singles title, completing a rare treble after already securing the Under-14 and Under-18 crowns earlier in the tournament. On the state-ranking tournament's concluding evening at the BPS Sports Club, Aryan Kotasthane clinched a commanding double, winning both the Men’s Singles and Men’s Doubles titles.

In the Ladies Singles final, Tvisha Sardesai delivered a composed and controlled performance to defeat Raisa 6-1, 6-4. Having already dominated in the junior categories, the victory underlined her consistency across age groups and marked one of the standout achievements of this year’s tournament.

Aryan Kotasthane proved equally decisive in the Men’s events. In the Men’s Singles final, he registered a convincing 6-3, 6-0 win over A Harren Narayan. He also partnered with Rushi Anikari n the Men's Doubles final to secure a 6-0, 7-5 victory over Shaurya Awasthi and Anamay Anamay Mittal.

The concluding day brought the third edition of the All Goa Ranking Tennis Tournament to a competitive close, with strong participation across age groups and categories over the course of the event.

The grand finale and prize distribution ceremony was held on Sunday evening at the BPS Sports Club, Margao. Digambar Kamat, Minister for PWD, Captain of Ports and Legal Metrology, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Senior club members Artemio Moraes and Shashank Shirwaikar were felicitated for their contribution and continued support to the club and the sport.
