Aahil shines at National Deaf Senior Swimming C'ship

Aahil Sheikh showcased an exceptional performance at the XXVII National Deaf Senior Swimming Championship 2026, organized by the All India Sports Council of the Deaf, New Delhi, and hosted by the Gujarat Sports Council of the Deaf.

The championship was held at the Sardar Patel Stadium Swimming Pool, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on March 21 and 22.

Representing the Goa Sports Council for the Deaf, Aahil delivered a remarkable performance, securing a total of four gold medals and setting two New National Meet Records (NMRs).

His outstanding achievements include: Gold “ 1500m Freestyle (New National Meet Record), Gold “ 800m Freestyle, Gold “ 400m Freestyle, Gold “ 200m Freestyle (New National Meet Record)

Aahil’s success is a testament to his relentless dedication, discipline, and passion for swimming. His journey has been guided by his dynamic coach, Sir Sujith T.A., at the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence, Panjim, Goa.
