St Anthony FC Assolda will organise the 18th St Anthony Festival Cup 2026, a nine-a-side inter-village football tournament, beginning on June 28 at Moll Ground, Assolda.
The winners will receive a cash prize of Rs 70,000 along with a trophy, while the runners-up will be awarded Rs 50,000 and a trophy. Several individual prizes will also be presented during the tournament.

Sant Xavier Vidyalaya crowned Pernem U-14 cricket champions
MARGAO: Sant Xavier Vidyalaya, Korgao emerged champions in the Under-14 Boys' Cricket Tournament organised by the Goa Cricket Association for schools in Pernem taluka.
In the final, Sant Xavier Vidyalaya defeated Shree Kamleshwar High School, Petechewada-Korgao, by six wickets. Chasing a target of 120 runs, the champions successfully reached the total with wickets to spare.
Captain Shreyash Nagvekar starred with the bat, scoring 55 runs off 44 deliveries to emerge as the top scorer of the match.
Present with the victorious team were physical education teacher Lakter Britto, manager Rev Fr Clifford Castelino and headmistress Bernadette Fernandes.
