Overseas Goans should not cut ties with State

I observe with sadness many Goans giving up their assets, properties, wealth in Goa and transferring that wealth to their new adopted homelands in foreign countries, where it is common knowledge that this wealth will have limited time to last in those expensive countries versus a much longer time in Goa mainly due to significantly lower costs of living. It's disheartening to see a lot of generational wealth/properties etc created by their ancestors which could have taken care of many Goans (and their next generations) for multiple lifetimes, is so easily squandered away by many Goans in the current generation. Properties on offer in particular, are easily grabbed by non-Goans who seem to appreciate their value as against the concerned gullible and short sighted Goans. With increasing global turbulence and increasing cost implications spreading across the world even in formerly safe havens, I hope that at least now these overseas Goans re-think cutting off such ties with Goa completely including selling of their properties; and instead put them to good use.
