Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has reportedly rejected TVK chief Vijay's claim to form the government, despite meeting him for a second consecutive time at Lok Bhavan, stating that the party had not demonstrated majority support in the Assembly. Though Vijay's Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) has emerged as the single largest party with 108 seats in the 234-member House in Tamil Nadu, Governor Arlekar is seen refusing to invite him to form the government on flimsy grounds.
Well, it looks like Arlekar wants somehow to install a BJP-led AIADMK alliance government by hook or by crook, hiring the services of some rebel DMK MLAs and carrying out his time-wasting drama in Tamil Nadu. Why didn’t some BJP-appointed Governors overnight install BJP governments in so many states without even seeing their majority and giving them ample time to prove their majority on the floor of the House?
I think that Arlekar needs to be sacked immediately for not behaving like a responsible Governor but like an ordinary karyakarta or party worker of the BJP, dancing like a helpless remote-controlled puppet at the behest of his own party bosses in Delhi to enjoy his own ache din in Tamil Nadu. Shame on Rajendra Arlekar... yes, this man needs to go for the betterment of Tamil Nadu... Jai Hind...
