Jerome Clement, Traffic Manager at Mormugao Port Authority, and Raghoba A Kotkar, Vice President of Delta Ports, were felicitated at the Industries  and Commerce Exhibition ‘Incomex 2026’ in Hubbali-Karnataka, in recognition of their contributions to the transport and logistics sector.

The felicitation was carried out by Karnataka MP and former chief minister Jagadish Shettar during the exhibition organised by the Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The event brought together industry leaders, policymakers and stakeholders from across the country, providing a platform to discuss developments and challenges in commerce and infrastructure.

Jerome Clement and Raghoba A. Kotkar were recognised for their work in strengthening port operations and logistics networks, contributing to improved efficiency in cargo movement and trade facilitation. Their roles in the sector have been associated with operational management and private logistics services, respectively.

Following the felicitation, a panel discussion on transport and logistics was held as part of the exhibition. The session was moderated by Uday Revankar, honorary secretary of the Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The discussion focused on emerging trends, infrastructure requirements and the future of logistics in India.

Along with Jerome Clement and Raghoba A. Kotkar, the panel featured Basavaraj Wadigeri (IPOS) and Anthony Gaskell. The panelists shared their perspectives on strengthening supply chains, improving port connectivity and enhancing coordination between public and private stakeholders.

The exhibition also hosted multiple sessions, industry interactions and showcases, aimed at promoting trade and investment while addressing sector-specific issues. Organisers said the event served as an important platform for dialogue between government authorities and industry representatives on advancing transport and logistics systems in the country.
