The police stated that the accused driver of the container truck, Vijai Shresth, drove the vehicle in a rash and negligent manner, endangering human life. Upon reaching Farwade, Loutolim, the accused driver dashed into a pedestrian, Pramod Kumar, a native of Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, who was crossing/walking along the roadside.
