Goa Govt signs MoU with RailTel to modernise non-major ports with digital infrastructure

PANAJI 

The Goa Government's Captain of Ports department on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RailTel Corporation of India to strengthen the digital and IT infrastructure of Goa’s non-major ports.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and the Captain of Ports Minister Digambar Kamat.

The Chief Minister on his social media platform said that the partnership will strengthen the IT and digital infrastructure of Goa’s non-major ports through modern technology, AI-enabled systems, secure cloud solutions, and improved digital connectivity, helping modernise port operations and enhance efficiency.

Further,  Sawant added that the initiative is an important step towards technology-driven governance and strengthening maritime infrastructure in Goa.
