Goa govt calls for participation in national yoga record attempt

PANAJI: The Goa government has issued a circular urging employees across departments, offices, autonomous bodies, and corporations to participate in a nationwide online yoga session on June 14, as the Ministry of Ayush attempts to set a Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneous online yoga event ahead of the International Day of Yoga.

The session, being organised by the Ministry of Ayush in collaboration with Habuild Healthtech Pvt Ltd, will be held from 6.15 am to 7.35 am and streamed on the ministry's YouTube platform.

Participants must register in advance by giving a missed call to the toll-free number 1800-315-7008. Registered participants will receive the session link via WhatsApp.

Each participant must log in individually through their own device, as every registered device joining the session will be counted towards the official Guinness World Record tally.
