Building will replace crumbling structure in garden: Minister

Margao MLA and PWD Minister Digambar Kamat has said that two-storied building has been proposed inside the Margao municipal garden since the existing structure is on the verge of collapse.

Saying that the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) has prepared a good plan to replace the crumbling structure with a two-storied building, Kamat said the people of Margao and Goa in general would welcome the project as it a best plan designed by the GSIDC. “I have personally seen the plan design. The GSIDC has floated the tender to execute the project after seeking approval from the Margao Municipal Council. There’s seating arrangements on the top floor; The garden area will be developed after the project takes shape”, Kamat added.
