Venzy Viegas, MLA of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has said that the only way to defeat the BJP in Goa is for parties like RGP and AAP to come together.
“Just as ‘cockroaches’ come together, all of us must unite to defeat the BJP government,” Viegas said, referring to an online political movement that has gone viral on the internet.
He said the resignation of Manoj Parab was a setback, but stressed that RGP remains important as a regional force.
Viegas appealed to Parab and RGP MLA Viresh Borkar to resolve their differences and remain united.
According to him, the BJP government has failed to maintain law and order and has lost the trust of the people.
“If RGP and AAP join hands, only then can the BJP be defeated in Goa,” he said.
