Kushavati District Collector Egna Cleetus has issued directions to the concerned departments to expedite the resolution of pending matters through coordinated efforts and ensure the timely redressal of the issues raised by the Project Affected Persons (PAP) under the Salaulim irrigation project.
The directions were issued by the Collector in the presence of Subhash Phal Dessai, Minister for Social Welfare and MLA of the Sanguem constituency, when she chaired a committee meeting regarding issues faced by Project Affected Persons under the Salaulim Irrigation Project.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Collectors, Mamlatdars, Talathis and officials from the ISLR and WRD of Sanguem and Quepem talukas.
During the meeting, individual grievances and pending cases relating to land acquisition, rehabilitation, compensation and revenue records were reviewed in detail. The concerned departments were directed to expedite the resolution of pending matters through coordinated efforts and ensure timely redressal of the issues raised by the affected persons.
