Rider dies in mishap at Mapusa

MAPUSA

A 38-year-old man from Khorlim-Mapusa died in a two-wheeler accident in Samatanagar, Mapusa.

According to reports, the mishap took place on Sunday at around 2.30 pm, when Satyavan Sanjeev More was travelling from Housing Board, Mapusa, to Ghateshwarnagar via Samatanagar on his two-wheeler.

More lost control of the two-wheeler near Santosh Naik’s shop and fell on the road, sustaining serious injuries in the mishap.

He was moved to the Mapusa District Hospital and was later referred to the GMC Hospital at Bambolim, where he breathed his last at around 2.30 am 

on Monday.

Further investigation is being conducted by Mapusa Police Sub-Inspector Dattaprasad Pandit.
