Murder accused from Mangaluru held in Margao

MARGAO 

The Konkan Railway Police arrested a murder accused from Mangaluru after he allegedly fled his home state and travelled to Goa by train. 

Acting on information received from their counterparts in Karnataka, Konkan Railway Police Station in-charge PI Vikram Naik formed a special team and deployed officers at Margao railway station with photographs of the accused. 

As soon as the accused got off the train at Margao railway station, the police team identified and detained him before taking him to the police station for further procedures. 

PI Naik said that a police team from Mangaluru was informed about the arrest and has been asked to take the accused into their custody.
