In a midnight raid, the Margao police have seized ganja weighing 963 grams worth Rs 1.15 lakh form a resident of Ponda.
Acting on a tip off, a team of Margao police caught red handed a person from Ponda, Rohan Dias while he was allegedly being in possession of dry greenish leafy flowering and fruiting parts of a plant suspected to be Ganja. The incident took place near the District library, Navelim.
The police have arrested the accused and booked him under section 20 (b) (ii) (A) of NDPS Act.
