Mapusa gears up for annual Milagres feast on April 20

The feast of Our Lady of Miracles, also known as the Milagres feast, will be held on 20 April at St Jerome Church in Mapusa. The nine-day Novenas preceding the feast begin on 11 April and will culminate with vespers on 19 April. The fama will be on 10 April (Friday).
On the Feast Day, Masses will be celebrated at 5.30 am, 7 am, 8.30 am, 10 am and 11.45 am (English), followed by services at 4 pm and 5.15 pm.
Masses on weekdays during the ongoing Novenas are celebrated at 6.30 am, 8 am (Novena) and 6 pm (Novena and Salve), while on Sundays they are celebrated at 6.30 am, 7.45 am (Novena), 9 am (English) and 6 pm (Novena and Salve).
In conjunction with the religious festivities, the church authorities have arranged a five-day entertainment extravaganza, Milagres Fiesta 2026, within the church compound, commencing on the feast day.
This entertainment package includes two Konkani dramas on the first two days, alongside various other programmes such as games and housie.
