Under the guidance of Sattari Mamlatdar Dhirendra Banavalikar, teams inspected affected areas and started preparing panchanamas on Thursday. Talathi Ladko Kudtarkar visited several sites and reported that around 10 people were affected, while a temple hall in Surunguli was also damaged. A final report will be submitted to the government to seek relief funds.
Kudtarkar said both villages were badly hit, with most panchanamas nearly complete. Banavalikar urged residents to submit applications promptly.
Meanwhile, Zonal Agriculture Officer Vishwanath Gawas and his team inspected crop damage in Surunguli, Shirsoda and Malpan, with Surunguli worst affected.
Zilla Panchayat member Premnath Dalvi assured early financial assistance to affected families.
