Jungle tree catches fire at Hivre

A tree fell on the road at Ambeli, while a jungle tree caught fire near Hivre in two separate incidents in Sattari taluka.  

According to the Valpoi fire station, the first incident occurred around 9.45 am near the Ambeli junction, where a tree had fallen on the road.   Upon receiving the information, a Valpoi fire brigade went to the spot and removed the tree, clearing the road for traffic.

The second incident took place in the afternoon near a bridge at Hivre, when a jungle tree caught fire. A fire brigade later brought the fire under control.
