PORVORIM The four individuals arrested by Porvorim police for protesting against the proposed Mirabag bandhara in the Assembly visitors’ gallery ”Hemant Bhandari, Apa Naik, Upendra Naik, and Umesh ” were released on Saturday, on a personal bond of Rs 20,000 each.
The release came with the condition that the protesters avoid entering the Legislative Assembly building and Porvorim areas during the current Budget Session. They were produced before the Mapusa Deputy Collector before being let off.
The case, registered under sections 61(2), 329(3), 221, 132, and 353(1) of the BNS, is being investigated by PSI Mandar Parab.
