Bike-car collision near Mapusa   court leaves two critically hurt The bike collided with a car that was approaching from the Duler side towards Mapusa while attempting to take a right turn.

MAPUSA

Two persons sustained serious injuries after a collision between a Royal Enfield motorcycle and a car near the JMFC Court in Mapusa late on Saturday night.

According to sources, the motorcycle rider, who was travelling with a pillion rider, was allegedly speeding when he reached the circle near the municipal area. While attempting to take a right turn, the bike collided with a car that was approaching from the Duler side towards Mapusa.

Both vehicles suffered significant damage in the impact.

The injured were initially rushed to the North Goa District Hospital in Mapusa. Due to the severity of their injuries, they were later referred to Goa Medical College for further treatment.

Police have registered a case and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
